AO 11625
Cost:$1200.00
Description:The AO 11625 Phoropter Refracting Instrument, the first and always the best refracting instrument, continues to be the industry standard after nearly 80 years. Face shields that can be washed, soaked in alcohol, or boiled give you the assurance of sterility. Legendary smoothness, feel and positive detents mean that you can totally concentrate on your patient Bi-Loupe turret in a single plane means that you'll get a wider overlapping field of view during testing. Concentric cylinder power and axis controls mean easier, more accurate operation for you synchronized cross cylinder measurement means faster results with less chance of error. Optically additive lenses means you only need to add the powers together to get the effective power. High quality manufacturing standards and experienced craftsmen (people with, on average, of over 20 years experience) mean that you have the instrument to which all refractors manual or automatic are compared. Good functioning unit for those on a budget or second lane. Few minor blemishes but works well. One of the vertex measuring tools is gone but I am sure it could be replaced easily if you wanted to bother. Call Derek at (503) 912-1085 or email derekjb2001@hotmail.com

Burton SL-750
Cost:$1600.00
Description:Burton SL-750 Portable Slit Lamp…AKA Shin-Nippon SL-65B (Believe it’s been private labeled by one or both of these companies). Same instrument, I think. Portable, hand-held, compact, and lightweight in character; lithium battery provides power supply; permits long-term continuous lighting for approximately 2 hours, with no external power required; Eyepiece easily charged to shift between magnification 10X or 16X. It has a built-in blue, green filter. It is single hand operated, almost the same features as a desktop slit lamp but ideal for pediatrics, nursing home, carry-out or hospital use. Purchased several years ago for nursing home care but stopped that service almost before I began. So unit is near new condition. It is very light weight making it is easy to handle. Comes with: 1. Slit Lamp 2. Battery Pack #1 (holds charge) 3. Battery Pack #2 (does not hold a charge, but should be fixable at local battery store) 4. 10x and 16x removable eye pieces 5. Battery charger 6. Extra fuses 7. Padded carrying case Eligible for ADA tax credit Call Derek at (503) 912-1085 or email derekjb2001@hotmail.com Location: Gresham, Oregon

Talia RTA 5
Cost:$22,000
Description:2 year old unit in original crating ready to ship - The RTA 5 is a highly versatile and comprehensive early detection Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope, playing a key role in the ophthalmologist and the primary care clinic settings. The system provides clinical applications for Glaucoma, Diabetic retinopathy, AMD and other Retinal pathologies. The RTA 5 covers the disc, posterior pole and peripapillary areas with densely and evenly distributed optical cross sections, providing a “big picture” of the patient’s retina. The RTA 5 Report includes: A high resolution Fundus image, a color-coded retinal thickness map (overlaid on a fundus image), a thickness deviation map, a rim/cup area map, an RNFL cross section chart and a table of detailed indices. The RTA is equally beneficial for all diagnostic stages: screening of at-risk groups, diagnosing existing patients and objectively monitoring subtle changes over time. The RTA’s integrated Digital High Resolution Fundus Imaging capability provides a combined high resolution, wide field-angle fundus image as a stand-alone image or as a unique overlay of a retinal thickness map automatically superimposed on the patient’s fundus image. The RTA 5’s 3D Anatomy Imager feature generates a 3D cut section of the retina or disc. The interactive application provides new possibilities in imaging, a great patient education tool and a unique visual format for professional presentations. The RTA 5’s Vision Wellness is a baseline exam especially designed for testing general or at-risk populations. The exam can be non-mydriatic, quick and easy to perform, and is automatically archived for periodical follow ups. Vision Wellness The RTA Vision Wellness Examination plays a key role in the vision loss prevention process, assisting in early detection, identification and effective monitoring of the major back-of-the-eye diseases. Read More RTA Digital Fundus Imaging The RTA incorporates a built-in high resolution digital fundus camera. With every scan a color fundus photo is captured automatically. A registration software automatically overlays the thickness maps on the fundus image ensuring accurate orientation.
